Activities
The lodge organises various boat and bike excursions so you can truly experience the local flavour of Africa. The lodge is set in 200 acres of savanna, where you can wander around enjoying the birds and wildlife or you can go on a guided bird walk.
Bird walk
Over 250 species of bush, swamp and water birds have been spotted on the lodge´s 200 acres of savanna. Among them flycatchers, sunbirds, weavers, kingfishers, gonoloks and coucals. African Fish Eagles have a nest in a tree next to the lounge. Many birds are indigenous to this area and will not be seen in the Serengeti. You are free to roam around the extensive gardens. Guided walks are offered twice a day, early morning or late afternoon.
